Okay folks, how did you do this week?  I didn't have a very good week.  I took a risk on a company announcing earnings, and saw them lose 8% in one day.  Oh well, in a game like this you have to take risks to have a shot, right?

I currently stand at Value $1,027,134.37, Rank 166,638, Percentile 40%.

I will close results posting by the end of trading on Monday.  This should give us consistency in reporting.

Reminder, no bogus bucks. Not that I'm criticizing those who do, it is a game but just like in monopoly the free parking bit gets abused.

And yes, clearly you are criticizing people for choosing to get the bonus bucks, otherwise you wouldn't have said anything. Based on my cost basis (keeping track of this in google finance's portfolios), my profit thus far is $17,159.74.

Charles, let me repeat. It is only a game. Some people are playing tthe game to win real money, they'd be stupid to not collect the $3-6k in bonus bucks. Likewise if you want to "beat" the game go right ahead. I'm playing the game to test investment strategies. None of these are poor reasons to play nor is any one comparable without mentioning which way you are playing.
