About six weeks ago we brought in our haul after saving aluminum cans, plastic bottles and glass bottles. We drove home from parties with a trunk full of beer bottles on two different occassions. Sorted, and even rinsed out most of the goods. For all that, we earned $18.41. That was about two months worth of hoarding.
This time we kept the glass to a minimum. We saved all the plastic and aluminum possible. She put a box by her desk for co-workers to throw their water bottles and soda cans into after lunch. I brought plastic bags to the gym to collect the guys' gatorade bottles after basketball. This time, we brought our good to the recycle center after six weeks, and took in $26.17! Woohoo! We're getting better at this.
The money earned is going directly to the wedding fund. We have decided that we will start with a budget of $20,000, and anything earned from recycling, or any additional income outside of our employment, will also go to the wedding fund.
That puts our wedding fund at a total of $20,044.58!
I just got married (July 1st!) and we spent way less than $20,000 for our wedding (~$10,000). That said, it was anything but "cheap" and I couldn't have had a more perfect day :) If you're looking for some tips on how to save on the wedding, check out my wife's post about it:

In the end, we controlled the ENTIRE menu, the ceremony, the guest list, and everything else. Hold on to control of the event so that you and your future wife are happy and save the money for your honeymoon or something else. It's definately worth it!

We're working on a $13,000 budget... but we're saving it as we speak. As much Coke Zero as we drink, I'm thinking I should save those cans to pull together whatever little cash we can to help out!

What do you find the most value in? Cans, bottles, glass? I'm trying cans, but dont know if its even worth it.

You know, if you didn't buy the Coke Zero in the first place, you could save a *lot* more money for a wedding then recycling the cans afterwards :) Just pointing that out.

Following my own investigation, billions of people in the world get the loan from well known creditors. Hence, there's good chances to get a consolidation loan in every country.

coach handbags are undoubtedly a buy to the future. If addressed with care, a quality exceptional canada goose can very last you for several years. Even although fashions seem and go, for unobtrusive layering below canadian goose jacket , it can't be beaten for warmth and comfort. http://www.offical-coach.net/

Boo hoo alright, it was only three who topped themselves. Pity a few more, (particularly Mahommed Daoud) didn't take that option also.

Glad to know that 2 months of hoarding paid you $18.41 Recycling is so eco friendly that it's a great idea to recycle as often as we could. All disposables should go to the right places.
