I actually found this via Jeffrey's (of pfadvice.com) comments on Out of Debt Blog, when I was reviewing the site for Random Personal Finance Blog Sunday.
This site is very different from the thousands of other travel sites found on the internet. First of all, it's user driven. When readers find great deal, they write in and it is posted on this site. Second, they are not simply harvesting the best deals that the air and hotel industries are creating. They are digging under all that for the mistakes and glitches that the industry invariably makes.
For example, triprewards.com is one of the repeat offenders. They have a best rate guarantee claim, offering free hotel stays if you book through them and later find the same offer for cheaper. Well, there are three examples of hotels, one in Anaheim, one in Cleveland and another in Atlanta, where you can get a free stay because a cheaper price can be found on expedia.com.
The site is freetraveling.com. If you find something you like book it quickly, as the hotel or airline may figure out their error before you can take advantage. Also, if you find any great deals, shoot them an email. Once you have gotten your killer deal, help others get theirs too!
