We participated in two carnivals this week. Good stuff all around. Here are my favorites.
The Carnival of Personal Finance, hosted by Five Cent Nickel, featured How to Stick to a Budget: Habit Forming or Self Discipline?
Others I liked: Bob at Insureblog wrote High Deductible High Jinks. I was just wondering about these plans in my post, We Had Our Benefits Meeting Today.
IRA reviewed 'Maxed Out' - A Scathing Look at the Lending Industry. John OMM and Miserly Bastard had some interesting comments.
Canadian Capitalist hosted the Carnival of Debt Reduction. My Adventures in 0% Balance Transfer refinancing my Auto Loan.
Read Money and Investing's Closing an Account it Difficult. Don't we all know it. That's why there are so many "free trial period" offers by magazines, credit cards, web sites...
Mighty Bargain Hunter suggested that instead of just trying to pay down the things we have already bought, we reconsider whether we still need them or not, in Debt Reduction by Downsizing.
That's all this week. Happy Tuesday.
Thanks for mentioning my post :-)
