MyMoneyForest recently reported that his Google PageRank shot up from zero to a whopping Five! That's an enormous leap. So, what the heck, I'll check mine. Same thing! Laws of Finance went from zero to four overnight.
It's a curious thing, this Google PageRank. There's a great site, My PageRank FAQ, that answers many of the questions that we all have, such as "How often is PageRank updated?" and "How is PageRank calculated?"
Anyway, from what I gather, links are a big deal. So, thank you to everyone who has linked to me.
I think I was using the wrong tool on MyPageRank.net. I was using the "Google Indicator" which said my PR was 0. Then after installing the Google Toolbar, visiting my page and seeing I was a 5...I went to MyPageRank.net again and tried the "Google PageRank" tool. :) I highly doubt it jumped over night.
Good question though - how often is Google PR updated?? Who knows. They're full of secrets!

More secrets than the CIA! Did you check out that FAQ link? According to these folks, it's updated approximately quarterly. That's why you and I made sudden jumps, we weren't around during the last update.
