I've seen low. But c'mon! Here's the article in the LA Daily News. This woman, Mayvis Coyle, is 82, right? She presses the crosswalk button, the light turns green. She steps off the curb, so far so good. She moves at a pace expected of an 82 year old woman with a cane! Before she can reach the other side, the light changes, and lo and behold, there's the officer waiting with her ticket for $114.
Again, I say, C'mon! Are you serious?
What the hell???? Was there a speed limit posted? That's just messed up.

I am shaking my head right now. Someone needs to get a grip on reality. This is too messed up.

That's ridiculous. That's really low of the cop if he's trying to fill a quota.

Yea, I don't think he's trying to fill a quota, but it's just lunacy. Based on the article, I think they really felt that it was unsafe, and this was their way of "sending a message". I'm just not sure what that message was, "walk faster, old lady"?

Now that's just WRONG!
