I've done this a few times. When I first started blogging (like a month ago), I emailed a few of the established guys asking for advice, and notifying them that I will be linking them, and whenever they felt appropriate, I would appreciate a link back.
So, when you ask someone to exchange links, do you feel like a seventh grader asking a girl if she wants to go around with you?
"So, I understand if you don't want to. And, well Robbie told me that you like me. So, I was thinking, and only if you want to. Maybe we could go around?"
I dunno, just thinking.
As you were.
Haha... Yes. Thanks for that. I needed a laugh.
By the way, if anyone is interested in a link exchange, please do let me know.

hehehe, I know the feeling. I generally try not to ask for link-backs. I just link to others and let them link to me if they feel it is appropriate. Sometimes I wonder if some people would "ever" link to an atheist's blog. Overall though, I've been very grateful from the linkbacks I've received.

To me it feels like "cold calling." I kind of feel like a salesman trying to sell my blog. Putting a link to someone on your site is a small advertisement for them. So it's kind of like a business proposition. A barter of links if you will...

Us newbies have to start somewhere right? Sometimes a little upselling is in order. That said, I added you to my blogroll and add me back if you wish.
