Henry Stern, AKA The Prof, has started the Cavalcade of Risk. The idea is to examine risk management in all its forms. This obviously involves insurance, but will consider examinations of risk management in our everyday lives, including that which is outside of business and finance. I'll be interested to see what type of posts result.
My entry was the local story of two local women who allegedly befriended homeless men, took out life insurance policies on them, then committed murder.
Jon Swift asks an interesting question, Why Should I Pay for Diseases I'll Never Get? Can't say that I agree with him, but it's an interesting idea.
